Our Story
Our ice cream story spans generations. It all began with my mother, Roberta, who taught me to be an ice cream connoisseur at a young age.

During my college years, I scooped ice cream at Willard Scoops. After years of working in the tech industry, traveling abroad, and tasting A LOT of ice-cream, I returned home to Maine.

2023 was a big year, I purchased Willard Scoops from its original owners, and my partner Jen and I welcomed our baby daughter into the world! As the new owner, my family and I are reimagining what Willard Scoops can be. We are eager to welcome you into the shop, hear your ideas, and serve you the very best ice cream!

Our Gourmet Ice Cream
We are passionate about ice cream! Our gourmet ice cream is made on site using natural ingredients. We hope you visit and catch our team in action as they create delicious ice cream right in the shop. Try our Willard Scoops signature flavors including Salt Caramel, Coffee Oreo, Halloween, Mint Leaf Chip (using fresh mint leaves), Honey I Love You, and Key Lime Pie, or come by for a frappe, float or sundae topped with our delicious homemade hot fudge.
